Consulting & Strategy.

Honest technical advice — even when the answer is "don't build that".

The problem

You are about to make a technology decision — a new platform, an AI initiative, a vendor contract, a rebuild — and you want an honest second opinion from someone who does not have a product to sell you.

What we do

Short, focused consulting engagements:

·

System audits — a structured review of your current technology stack, with a prioritised list of what to fix, replace, or leave alone

·

AI readiness assessments — do you have the data, the processes, and the problems where AI will actually help? We tell you honestly

·

Architecture reviews — before you build (or rebuild), we review the proposed architecture and flag risks

·

Vendor pitch reviews — bring us the proposal from your prospective vendor and we will tell you what they are not telling you

·

Technology strategy — a roadmap for the next 12–24 months that is grounded in where you are now, not where a vendor wants you to be

How we are different

We bill for our time and deliver a written report. We do not earn commissions from vendors, we do not upsell our own products (we don't have any), and we will tell you if the answer is "do nothing" or "the tool you already have is fine".

Pricing

Most consulting engagements run AUD 5,000–20,000 depending on scope. A focused audit or vendor review can be done in a week. A full technology strategy typically takes 2–4 weeks.

FAQ

Common
questions.

Will you just tell us to hire you for the implementation?

No. Most of our consulting clients implement the recommendations themselves or with another vendor. We get hired for the honest opinion, not the follow-on work — though some clients do ask us to stay on.

How is this different from a free sales consultation?

We charge for consulting because it aligns our incentives with yours. A free consultation is a pitch. A paid one is an opinion. You get a written deliverable, not a slide deck.

Can you review a vendor proposal for us?

Yes — this is one of our most common consulting engagements. Bring us the proposal and we will tell you what is reasonable, what is overpriced, and what is missing.

Ready to talk

Let's start with
your problem.

Every engagement starts with a conversation — not a sales pitch. Tell us what is not working and we will tell you what we would do about it.
